One member joined and paid a year's worth of dues in advance...he said he did it because it helps him stay sober.
Knowing that if he drank, he would lose hs dues and he would get a huge resentment.
Because ZRC must have members to survive. Unlike renting a room at a church,
ZRC is a stand-alone business.
As such, there are many expenses, such as rent/mortgage, utilities, insurance, and manintenance of the building and grounds.
While the rent money taken from the meeting baskets is very important, it falls far short of the income needed to operate ZRC,
Membership dues are the life-blood of ZRC.
Also, as a member, you help insure that your favorite meetings will be held in a safe place and convenient facility and at times
that correspond to your lifestyle.
